Jess Olivieri is an artist who sometimes curates and lives mostly in Sydney.
Jess co-founded the Parachutes for Ladies, who make work that sit at that sits at the juncture of visual art, dance, sound and performance, she also likes to collaborate with other people and has done so on recent projects such as the League of Resonance with Sarah Rodigari (panther) and Jason Maling (the Vorticist), co-produced by the City of Melbourne. Jess co-founded Future Local Association Group (FLAG) who create opportunities for artists to engage in critical and creative dialogue, recently in the form of Art Camp at Bundanon. Jess is the co-curator of Nighttime at Performance Space. In the past Jess fulfilled her right of passage as a Firstdraft director and still holds a flame for the site of her Visual Arts degree (honors), the now defunct Uinversity of Western Sydney.
