We are interested in phenomena and how the collective experience of a phenomenon connects disparate peoples. In ‘Quiet today…’ we investigate the phenomena of the Taos Hum, an unexplained audible frequency heard in specific geographical locations around the world. The title of the work is taken from a post on a ‘hearers of the hum’ blog site where ‘hearers’ share accounts and advice in coded language.
